Packing

Frances is at the house with movers and the pugs head to the
hotel to help Sherry pack.

"Packing is exhausting."  Olive
We never would have made it on
the plane without our friends, faithful til the last.

Just before we left the States, DOMA was overturned, so we had a quickie marriage amidst packing and moving, attended by an impromptu group of many of our favorite people.

Lynette and Jerry and Pat and Gil celebrate from afar.

First Week in Samoa - Shopping and Temporary House

Our temporary accomodations
"Sta" the (overly?) friendly dog who lives in the compound.
The church next door that tolls the gong every Sunday morning at 7:00 am (and every evening at 7:00 pm) for five minutes, while the neighborhood dogs howl, to call everyone to church.
Our elaborate decor and our first fruit and vegetable shop.

First Week in Samoa - Walks and Drinks

The pugs daily walk at the Golf Course across the street.
A roadside beach walk in the rain, lava rocks and sand.
Finding shells.
A rainbow cloud over the water.
A walk along the sea wall in town and
some trash
along the river.

Drinks at the marina follow - a good end to a day.
