Out and About Weeks Three and Four

A traditional Samoan Fale

A non-traditional tree house!  It's a Treesort - run by Americans and designed by architects.

The Treehouse
A Saturday beach outing - and our beach fale with pug fence.

Lalomanu Beach
Karen - the Director of Mgmt and Operations at Peace Corps

A Volunteer's adorable house.

Sunday Lunch - or To'a'na'e - with a Volunteer's family.

What a spread!  Lobster even...
An after lunch explore - driving down the road in the rain.

Piglets!
An amazing Banyan Tree

An outrigger boat

A Volunteer's school that was blown down by last December's cyclone.

At a resort for a drink.

Back on the road.

From the Gary Cooper movie ... but alas, no visitors allowed on Sunday.

It's not all paradise.

The next Saturday - a trip to To Sua Trench - an amazing place to swim
but with a super scary ladder.

Our fale at To Sua Trench - wishing our friends and family were with us.
The view from the fale.

Frances on the little beach.

Uh oh!

The lava fields and the ocean.

The view.

Relaxed after a swim.

Hitchens are always happiest when they can swim.
